Job Summary:
Canvas Construction Group is a full-service renovation and construction company. We are seeking knowledgeable, dependable Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers with experience in commercial finish out construction. Projects will be in the DFW areas.
Responsibilities:
Main contact for clients/prospects Presentations (initial and each presentation) Walk-throughs Updating of clients Estimates projects Evaluates existing site conditions Initiate RFI’s and coordinate with clients, architects and engineers Prepare contracts Prepare and track changes and additions Prepares and coordinates preparation of plans, drawings and construction documents Sources, qualifies and contracts with subcontractors Studies job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods Schedules the project in logical steps and budgets time required to meet deadlines Sources and obtains supplies and materials needed to complete project Communicates schedule to superintendents and clients Initiates invoicing process Processes subcontractor & vendor draws / payments Prepares startup and close out paperwork Regularly visit the field and the sites Oversees and works closely with Superintendents
Qualifications:
Proficient with Microsoft Office Experience estimating the cost and profit of a project Managing construction projects with budget constraints Ability to read and understand blueprints and discuss with site crews and clients Must have strong problem solving skills Detail orientated Excellent communication skills Ability to work as a team
Salary : Based on experience – Ranges from $40,000-$50,000 plus a percentage of project profit
