currently seeking an Environmental Engineer or Geologist our Parsippany, NJ office. The position will require a variety of environmental sampling and reporting functions in support of site investigation, remediation, and regulatory compliance assignments supporting various clients in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The work will range from directing drill rigs for green infrastructure investigations in New York City, general field support during multi-media sampling (i.e. soil and groundwater) and preparation of reports for sites undergoing investigation. Position requires strong skills and knowledge of MS Excel and Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access and Adobe Acrobat. Experience with AutoCAD, Microstation and/or ArcGIS products a plus.

• BS or higher degree in Engineering, Geology or Environmental Sciences.
• 5-7 years of experience.
• Current OSHA 40-hour certification.
• Ability to travel to various sites in New York City and the Boroughs of NYC.
• Experience with Unified Soil Classification System (USCS), standard penetration tests and permeability testing.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Working experience with NJDEP regulations. Knowledge of NYSDEC, PADEP and/or NYCDEP regulations.
• Multi-media sampling and contractor oversight.
• Works in a timely fashion to meet project budgets and schedules.
• Prepares technical reports, memorandums and letter reports.
• Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects.
