Business Development – Sales Commercial Construction

Canvas Construction Group is seeking a seasoned Business Development professional to join our team. We are looking for a professional to expand our commercial construction department with existing clients and to cultivate new prospects. This position is promoting commercial construction and development services to business and to city representatives.

Requirements

Demonstrated ability to substantially expand new business and grow existing business within the construction industry

Engaging and highly effective interpersonal, communication and presentation skills that cultivate and grow lasting business relationships both internally and externally

Proficient with a focus on accuracy, timeliness and profitability

Able to engage and strategize with leadership team to drive revenue.

Self-motivated, energetic, possess excellent relationship building skills, and be able to conduct oneself with professionalism and discretion.

Knowledge and experience with growing business technology, policies and procedures to maximize efficiency and profitability of all business processes

Must be proficient with MS Office

General construction knowledge and some technical construction knowledge

Coachable, Moldable, and eager to learn and take criticism

This position offers a base salary of $55,000-$65,0000 plus commission and/or bonuses depending on the level of experience, network size, and proven sales track record.
